Faith In Action
Rural Stearns Faith In Action (RSFIA) is a large coalition
of congregations, social agencies and community organizations
who have come together with the goal of providing free
services to people in need of a variety of assistance to
remain in their homes and communities.
As a volunteer,
you’ll join about 70 others who assist in transporting the
elderly to doctor appointments, provide light housekeeping and
share in companionship.
In 2004, the Rural Stearns
Faith in Action served 71 people, donating more than 15,492
hours of service.

Accepts your donations of food and/or
clothing. Donations are carefully sorted by volunteers and
made available to the needy. Nothing goes to waste. Worn
cotton clothing, for instance, is made into rags and sold
to industry. All the proceeds again go to the
needy.
